Blogging For Profit : How Passion Can Fill Your Pocketbook
Article by Zornitza P. MacKinnon
If you are really, really passionate about something, be it cooking, politics, auto repair, fly fish lures or even worm farming; you can turn that passion into profit with a blog. Blogging for profit is a relatively new phenomenon but it is growing fast thanks to two things. Access to the internet is now truly global and still growing bringing in millions of new users each year. Add to this huge market, blogging platforms that are SEO friendly and do not require any technical skills to run and you have a perfect mix for a passionate blogger to be heard.
And here is the really cool thing. You can do this and make a couple of extra bucks a month or you can replace your day job. It is really all up to you and how much you want and how much time you have to devote to it.
And I was serious about blogging about any subject. When you have an audience in the billions there are at least a few people out there who have the same interest as you do. For example did you know that the phrase worm farming is searched over 12,000 times a month? Worm farming, go figure. So the lesson here is whatever your interest there is a way to get visitors and if you can get visitors you can make some money.
So how can you do that? Well it really depends on what your motivation is. If you look at the blog as a hobby, something that you really enjoy but do not want to put more than a few hours a week into, and it would be nice to make some extra cash each month but you are not counting on it, then running simple to install contextual ads like Google Adwords or Amazon.com network is probably the best bet.
With AdWords Google will run text ads that are closely tied to the text on the page. When a person clicks on that ad you get paid. It may not be much or it could be substantial, it all depends on the subject of your content. If you are blogging about pharmaceuticals for coronary patients you are going to get Adwords that pay more because they are very competitive. If your subject is dog training, not so much.
With Amazon your visitor has to click through and actually buy something and then you get a commission. The plus side of these two is that they are fire and forget. You put them on the site and then never have to touch them again. The down side is there is not a lot of money to be made.
If you want to get serious about blogging for profit there is a couple of things you need to do. First you are going to have to learn a little search engine optimization. If you are using WordPress for your blog this is already done for you. You will have to learn basics for keyword research so your articles will rank in the search engines and drive traffic to you.
But most importantly, you have to deliver that passion you have for the subject. You have to provide that visitor with value. You want them coming back again and again. One way to do that is give away free information using an auto responder program. Put together a little 4 page report and tuck in onto a password protected page. Then offer it to your visitors in return for them giving you their name and email address. You email them the URL and the password and bingo, you have the start of a list and the money is in the list.
Using that list you can send more good information and become a trusted source. You can also provide links to products you have or promote. This is where the money really is.
Just always remember that blogging for profit does not mean your ultimate job is marketing. Your ultimate job is to give value and build credibility with your visitor.

3 Easy Steps to Blogging For Profit – Micro Niche Blogs
Article by Rita Sloan
Micro niche blogs are all the rage these in the internet marketing world these days. Successful blogs sell for great prices on site flipping marketplaces, but I am going to show you how to start blogging for profit using the micro niche techniques. This process involves 3 steps:
1. Keyword Research. Use a free tool such as Google Keyword Tool and type up some keywords on the niche you would like to go for. This can be a physical product or a ClickBank product kind of niche, Find long tail keywords (3-7 words) that get at least 1000 product name searches or more per month. Make sure to select phrase search option rather than the default broad search.
When you phrase search your keyword in Google by putting it in double quotes, there should be less than 25-30.000 competing sites coming up in the results. It is possible to get rankings for higher competition keywords, but as beginners we want to pick the low hanging fruit. There should also be plenty of AdSense ads displaying when you search this keyword, this means there is money in it. After deciding on your main keyword, pick a few more keywords related to this niche.
2. Domain registration and blog setup. Buy a domain consisting of your long tail keyword, Go for as.com domain since those rank the best. If that is not available,.net or.org is acceptable but.com is what you should go after. If it’s not available for your main keyword, then consider a synonym keyword (matching our monthly search, competition and profits criteria) or one of your secondary keywords.
Do not get an.info domain, they are very affordable but it’s extremely difficult to get them ranked in search engines. Since we are blogging for profit, we want to get the domain we can rank rather fast, Next step is to get a hosting service such as Hostgator. Do not use free blogs, these get deleted and shut down all the time, and your profits will vanish overnight.
If you are serious about blogging for profit, then get your own domain and hosting to avoid the frustration later. Once you get these squared, download the all in one SEO plugin and other WordPress plugins useful for affiliate marketing, Amazon and eBay marketing purposes. Pick a simple free theme for the start the blog. You can always purchase a premium theme later on. if you are going mostly for AdSense, I recommend using the free version of Heatmap theme since it makes it extremely easy to set up AdSense ads on your blog.
3. Content generation and monetization. Write a few 300-400 word articles for your main keyword and at least one article for each one of your secondary keywords. Make sure the content is unique and provides value to the customer.
Make sure to watch out for the keyword density and do not mention your keyword more than 2-3 times in the article body. Set up your WordPress to schedule posting these articles weekly or couple times a week. Ping and social bookmark it each time new content is posted. Write shorter, watered down versions of your articles and regularly submit those to article directories.
Set up a Google AdSense account and get AdSense codes to post on your site. Then go on Amazon & eBay and set up an affiliate accounts there. If you are promoting ClickBank or other e-products, get an affiliate code for those as well. You can set up affiliate accounts for most major product vendors for digital or physical products. A good strategy is to add the multiple link AdSense ads and the large Amazon recommended products widget to your site.
However, take care not to stuff it too much with AdSense, we don’t want have more ads than content.
After you complete this steps, the next thing to do is to promote your site in the blogosphere, social media, article directories and free classifieds sites.

Blogging For Profit The Easy Way
Article by Richard Legg
While blogs may have got the most news a few years ago, they are still as popular as ever. When they first started, they were mostly used as a kind of online diary. However, it didn’t take long for people to start blogging for profit. And, once more and more people realized there was money to be made with blogs, they took off to a whole new level. Today, it’s a safe assumption that most blogs are started in the hopes that they will make money. With that in mind, here some tips to help you make more money with your blog.
1. Treat it like a business. The purpose of every business is to make money. Therefore, if you want your blog to be profitable, then you have to run it like a business. That doesn’t mean you have to hire employees, or anything like that, but rather that you need to take it seriously, and be willing to invest some time, money and resources to make it successful.
2. Have a plan. You may as well start off on the right foot. The vast majority of successful businesses began with a written business plan. Try to be as specific as you can. How will you generate income? Who are your visitors? What percentage are likely to click on ads or buy something? How will you get traffic to your blog? What is your marketing plan? These are only a few of the questions you should answer.
3. Free isn’t always best. Blogger and WordPress have made it easy for anybody to start a blog for free. There is nothing wrong with using free blog services to learn about blogging. However, you will have less control over your blog if you host it on those sites. Yes, it’s free, but they can also remove your blog without any warning, and that’s not good for blogging for profit.
4. Invest a little. Okay, so going the free routine isn’t good for business, but what’s the other option? The good news is that you don’t have to pay anything to Blogger or WordPress to use their blogging platforms. However, you should set them up on your own domain name and hosting. You should be able to get a new domain name for under per year, and decent hosting can be found for as little as per month. That’s almost nothing when compared to starting a traditional business.
5. Monetize it. There are two main ways people use to generate income from their blogs. The first is by selling affiliate products. This is where you get a percentage of each sale for selling someone else’s product. You will get a special link that identifies you as the seller, so they know you made the sale. You may want to check out the software system course. The second way of monetization is Google AdSense. You sign up for their program, then add a snippet of code to your blog. They will then add targeted ads, and you get money every time one of your visitors clicks on an ad.

Tips Regarding Blogging For Profit
Article by Philip Guy
If you have your own blog page, or maybe you have a several that you follow and you would like to get started with your own, you might also understand that you can make profit with a weblog. You aren’t going to pay your bills with weblogs, in most cases, but you could bring in a little extra cash once you learn how you can do it right. Writing a blog for money is nothing new, and is not as simple as some individuals would like you to believe. You need to start small, figure out how to make use of Google Adsense, and then see what the results are if you keep your blog site operational.
Operating a blog for money will not be something you could do just once in a while. In case you simply post once per week or a few times a month, you are not going to make a lot of website visitors, therefore you’re not going to make a lot of money from your hobby. Instead, you must be prepared to try to make time every day to do your blogging and you likewise have to make sure you know very well what you are doing before you begin. Google Adsense has made some individuals a lot of money, but not from just one blog. Nonetheless, if you want extra money here and there, you could generate money over the long run by knowing how it works.
Google Adsense will put relevant ads on your weblog. This implies they’re going to match advertisements which mirror what you discuss every day. In case you want to begin blogging for profit talking about automobiles, the ads on your blog are going to be in connection with cars as well as other vehicles, insurance plan, accessories, and auto related products and services. Make sure that you have picked a subject matter which is going to bring in a lot of ads or you cannot make much money blogging about your interest. You might have to select something different. Put your concept into Google’s search engine and see if you get ads after you hit ‘search.’ What you see there is going to reflect exactly what comes up on your blog site.
Without advertisements, blogging for income is just going to be a bust. You earn income because individuals click on those ads. At times the clicks generate you revenue, but you can make more in case people click through the advertisements and actually make a purchase or subscribe to something. As you can see, without a lot of appropriate advertisements, your revenue opportunity from blogging for income is going to be very limited. Perhaps picking a very wide open subject matter will help. Don’t opt for something with a very narrow scope and very small audience.
Blogging for income does not always mean publishing a few blog posts and then sitting back and waiting to find out what you get paid. You must make sure you make a post at least once a day. That will keep individuals coming back and also gives more chances for the search engines to pick up your blog page. You could do research on making use of search phrases which the search engines like to up your odds of a listing on a top search engine even better. Remember to apply good sentence structure, spelling, and to keep your blogposts appealing but not too long. The average Internet reader does not stay long, so get to the point without rambling on too long.

Blogging For Profit
Article by Marilyn Roberts
Many people with blogs don’t realize it but they can actually make a living online just by optimizing their blogs and making it more useful for people. It ties in with the fact that Google’s Adsense service chooses significant sites to do their advertising on. Google pays a significant percentage of advertising fees to bloggers who place Adsense on their blogs.
Adsense
As mentioned, Adsense is a program of Google wherein they place significant content-based advertising on websites and blogs. Bloggers can also integrate the Google search service into their site and when users use the service, they will see Google ads in the results pages of their searches. Google pays a certain percentage to the owner of the blog every time an ad is clicked by a blog visitor. It’s quick money and the more activity on your blog, the better the chances of getting a high premium every month.
More On Pay Per Click
There is also another system that can be used when you choose to go blogging for profit. This is known as the pay-per-click service. Aside from Adsense, there are some sites such as http://www.chitika.com, that offer a pay-per-click service. It kind of works like Adsense except that it is more specific. They market a lot of products for other companies and if these ads are accessed through links off of your site, then those clicks from your blog are translated into money for you. Again, this is because they are using your site to advertise their service. Every month they pay you through PayPal with a minimum. But imagine the possibilities if you can get people to click more of the links provided by Chitika.
There are other ways that you can earn money using your blog. Searching the internet alone will show you that there are companies out there that are more than willing to use your blog as a conduit to get their products sold. All they need to do is shell out money for it and the most that you will end up doing is blogging for a profit.

Started Blogging for Profits
Article by Navneet Dosanjh
Not all that long ago, it was considered to be taboo for any advertising to be present on a blog at all. As a matter of fact, within the blogging community, a person would be shunned if they would have done such a thing. Times have certainly changed and now, blogging for profits is a relatively common thing and marketers have been using blogs in order to increase their income quite nicely. It really all starts with having a blog in the first place and there are several different options that you need to take into consideration. Although it certainly is possible for you to use a blogging system such as blogger.com in order to make your posts, you will have very little say as to whether your blog sticks around or not. It is a better idea for you to buy a domain name and some inexpensive hosting in order to get started with your blogging for profits endeavor. That is because you will have ultimate control over what happens to your blog and it really is a very inexpensive thing for you to get going. A lot of people make the mistake whenever they first began blogging of talking about anything and everything that comes to their mind. Although this may attract a little bit of attention to your blog, it is not going to do so in a way that will make you any money. Blogging for profits is really about niche blogging and attracting people to your website that are actually interested in what you have to say and possibly even interested in what you have to offer. By sticking with a particular theme, you make it much easier for them to be able to discern that what you offer is going to be of interest to them. It also helps if you’re consistent whenever you are blogging for profits. Don’t just put up a post or two and think that it isn’t working if you are not yet attracting the amount of traffic that you want. You need to commit to making blog posts on a consistent basis for perhaps a month or more before the traffic will begin to flow freely. Even though there are some ways for you to be able to speed this up, consistency will win the race and you will be happy with the results because of doing so.
